Tony has established a significant
body of work in company and commercial
fields as:
A consultant working on corporate strategy,
company restructuring, asset investment proposals, a large
IPO, organisational strategy, and a major international
contract dispute.
A corporate and securities lawyer at
Chapman
Tripp, where (among other things) Tony prepared the
first prospectus to be registered in both Australia and
New Zealand
A commercial lawyer at Thales Group (previously
Thomson-CSF), a large multi-national electronics company
based in Paris, France, where Tony worked on a variety of
commercial negotiations
A member of the
Policy Advisory Group in the Department of Prime Minister
and Cabinet, where Tony was closely involved in the Commerce
Act, reform of the Companies Act and Securities Act, and
corporatisating electricity companies (generation, transmission
and distribution)
